The âproblemâ here is that Lufthansa prioritizes Skandinavia/Northern Europe when it comes to cheap fares. You can easily find those fares when flying out of ARN/OSL/BGO/SVG/CPH etc. I know people from Germany that booked flights from Oslo and Stockholm because of the cheap fares and even with flights to OSL/ARN and one night in a hotel they were cheaper than booking a flight from Frankfurt or MunichâŚ

The last time I flew Lufthansa to Europe from Asia, the premium economy was just $20 more expensive than economy class. I wouldn't fly on the airline's economy (cause it is really not good), but I think if the premium economy is that cheap, it is always worth a go

For someone who is using Lufthansa only because they are the only carrier how offers connected international flights from HAJ I can confirm, it is the best value for money option you can get. We just paid just 120 euros more as for the economy seats for Hannover-Frankfurt-Delhi and the same route back. 60 Euros for an upgrade on a 9 hour flight is ridiculously cheap. The same for other flights as well in the past.
In general the service and space is good enough to arrive relaxed and ready to start your holiday.
Plus you are allowed to check in two 23 kilo bags instead of one. Not necessary but handy if you want to transport extra stuff or donât want to worry about buying stuff on your trip.

Have you done Finnair PE yet? I flew them to Chicago and it was simply amazing, much better seats than what is shown here, plus gourmet food, amenities and an exclusive very spacious and clean bathroom with a window. And quite affordable.

Most of LH flight attendants are rude with plenty of attitude, not pretty and old. Inedible food in business(was served frozen noodles literally couldnât pull them apart the whole chunk came up) and the options ran out after 1 row (I was in the third line from the front). Economy bags came out before business, their overall service is just unacceptable for the price. I donât even wanna imagine what kind of hell economy is like if their business service is that sloppy. Also itâs super irritating when you book the route with SWISS or ANA (the better partners) and LH swaps in instead.

Is it truly great value for money though or is it just great value for money relative to standard Lufthansa economy? As far as my experiences with Lufthansa have gone, the onboard product can be hit and miss. Theyâre certainly not the worst but they are nowhere near the best either.

LH Premium Eco might be fine for tall people. But the seats can not be brought into a real sleeping position. You also have to stand up when your neighbour wants to pass. If you want a relaxant overnight flight, you need to book business class.

Airlines favours the geographical locations when it comes to lower/best value fares.
For some reasons the majority of legacy carriers don't offer the best value fares from the UK, and one of the reasons is higher UK taxes !!

I flew FRA-LAX in Lufthansaâs premium economy on a 747-8i and was indeed pleasantly surprised! Price was great too! (If you book in advance)đ

Definitely not the case in flights to Brazil. Itâs closer to the price of BC than to economy.

Why does everyone think that Lufthansa has good food? I flew with them from London to Dubai via hamburg for new year and the food was completely inedible, single worst plane food I've ever had... And it wasn't an isolated incident either it hapened both ways.
BA, Air France, KLM, Big 3 american, emirates, qatar, Oman, all do better food
They also lost my wife's and son's bags. Not flying with them anytime soon.

Right⌠but itâs Lufthansa. I flew Lufthansa from SFO to Cairo, and basically all four flights went horribly wrong, FRA is a mess of an airport, I simply do not want to fly Lufthansa regardless of a deal that may or may not exist.

It's a complete mystery how you get those low prices....when i try to book it is waaaaayyy more expensive.
