Bruh even though they made fun of saber being childish and naive I feel like she was a better fighter than both Gilgamesh and Iskandar they valued their kingship more than their power. And yes what they said to saber did make sense and was character development for her.

I get her sense of duty to get people. And the disappointment that came when she could not protect everyone.
When Iskandar responded the way he did, I cried. He understood the pain she went through and still, he gave her the truth.
They aren't both wrong. Their ways of ruling was different but both are things any good king would do
