That was a surprisingly detailed bit of animation work on Rook there, that's cool to see. Still not used to the overall style but I'm sure I will be once I'm 10+ hours in lol.

This looks like some Marvel level garbage writing: you punch the First Warden in the face and when his followers draw their weapons the first thing the main character does is raising their hands in a "what? you didn't like that? Are you mad?" quirky kind of way. Instead of, you know, reading themselves for battle or intimidating their opponents.
