Instead of breaking down this beast of a cinema camera rig to mount on a gimbal. I just bought another camera lol.
Z Cam E2 M4 cinema camera being used for the handheld rig and I’m using another Z Cam E2 M4 cinema camera for my DJI gimbal rig.
For the handheld gimbal rig I am using a Nitze camera cage with Nitze stinger top handle. For external monitor I am using the Osee Tech G7 7inch camera monitor with a custom LUT. The camera and monitor is powered with the ZGcine V99 V mount battery and v mount battery plate. For audio I am using the Zoom F3 audio recorder with 32 bit float with the Synco D2 shotgun microphone supplying phantom power from the Zoom F3 audio recorder. With this handheld rig I mainly use the Canon 24-105mm F4.0 IS EF mount lens with the Viltrox speedbooster. Which will turn this canon F4 lens to a F2.8 which is helpful for low light filming situations. This Canon lens is also very help for for handheld because the lens has image stabilization because the camera does not have IBIS.

For the gimbal rig I am using the Z Cam E2 M4 cinema camera with a Laowa 7.5mm F2.0 ultra wide angle lens. The camera is protected with a Smallrig camera cage. I have mount on the camera a Smallrig ssd holder as I will be recording directly to the Samsung SSD at 4K Prores zlog2 up to 120fps. For the gimbal I am using the DJI Ronin S with the Smallrig back wood handle and the Smallrig left side wood handle. For external monitor I will be using the Z Cam app so I can see what is in frame and adjust my camera setting and explore and focus peaking and waveform and false color and monitor what I’m filming with a custom monitoring LUT.
