When I was a boy, like November 1978, we moved to Florida because of the blizzard of 1978 in Massachusetts. We drove with our possessions. As we crossed into Florida we stopped to eat at a Waffle House. It was full of out of state electric company trucks. They warned us to take shelter from an approaching hurricane. We could not because my father had to be at the Closing on the house we were buying. He knew better he said. 48hrs later there was no house. We lived in a motel for our first 2 months in Florida. MORAL OF THE STORY: Trust Waffle House Linemen.
