If you have this problem here's what you can do, wrap the tampon in Toilet paper until you can't see any Red And then put it in the Trash. I hope At least one person finds this tip helpful.

I am woman and I wrap my used pads in the paper they come in once I change them mostly for smell reasons I don’t think it’s unreasonable for the kid to be uncomfortable

I never got this!!!! It's a trash bin full of papers with pee and poop on them, but we don't care if we see the poop. Why is it unsanitary to see/have exposed used period products in a bag full of poop? What? Huh? What?

As a lady who wants to puke from MY OWN period blood, I get it. Just put it back in the wrapper or roll it up. It's not that difficult. As for the skid marks, that should also be addressed. Because that is also nasty, but she needs to bring it up alone and not as a "well you're gross too!" Kind of thing. Nothing will get solved that way.

Ok, i use to flush my tampons and never had an issue, but it depends on the liking situation/pipe. But you should wrap them. Even i would get grossed out.
