Sure the lay flat is great for toddlers but the average person can't even dream of affording it even with saving points for years. Then there is the other side of it. These kids appear very well behaved which is great, but if I spring for BC seats, I do NOT want to be sitting next to a whiney, tantrum throwing kid who's hyped up on sugar.

When i go to London for my retirement trip, I'm taking my son and his family. I'm booking us all business/first so they can experience it. It will be perfect so my granddaughter can actually sleep on the plane. I know it will put me back quite a bit, but for them to experience a possible once in a lifetime trip its more than worth it.

What will likely be my last trip in a Boeing 747 was in 2019 from Vancouver to London with BA. I had a seat on the upper deck and was dismayed to discover a mum, dad and two kids sat behind. I was right to be. Not because of the children, however, but because of the dad who was up and down all flight, getting things from the overhead bins, putting things back into the overhead bins, nipping across the aisle to bother his wife and generally faffing about. The children were impeccably behaved.

Oh… no… TPG you have so much GREAT content, but this video is so out of touch. Business class seats are 3-5 times the cost of economy. For a family of four, that’s easily $20k for a trip to Europe. Of course the features described are desirable. For most people, there just isn’t a world where $20k is “worth it” for airline tickets.
And this is coming from someone who flies business.
