I just got a used Solar Octane. Also have a '21 cement trail edition. My favorites. Underground is cool.

Iām just waiting until the end of the year when interest rates are likely lower and/or Toyota offering promotional financing for 4Runners to pick up a solar octane off-road 4Runner. š

Iām partial to Undergroundā¦but then again my Tundra is Cement which I love! The Terra reminds me of a clay flowerpot š

Itās just a darker version of Magnetic Gray, idk y they discontinued cement. That was such a nice color.

Sharp color but better fit for a Camry. 4Runner crushes it in black and army green.

Underground is nice but the best color for the 4runner imop is Barcelona red. (Terra is tied with underground for second). Although underground may be an inferior paint as toyota has stated it wanted to use less materials in their paint. Whether that means paint quality will suffer or not who knows, but time will tell

Drove an Underground Camry TRD for a couple of months while I waited on my allocation of a Solar Octane 4Runner TRD Pro and often got complemented on it even though itās really just a Camry SE w/ convenience package, V6 engine, LE front bumper and a body kit.
Although Underground is cool Iād ultimately pick Terra due to the exclusivity. Underground is available in every trim level on the 4Runner right now and will likely replace Magnetic Gray across all Toyota models in the coming years while Terra in the 4Runner will never again be seen at least within this outgoing generation. So thereās no chance that it would be offered in the lower trims for ānext yearā such as TRD Off-Road, TRD Sport, even a base SR5 because there will be no such thing in this instance.
Imo I think Voodoo Blue & Solar Octane will be the most desirable colors within the 5th gen luckily I own the latter :)

You would think the rest of the car industry would take note. A design that is by car standards ancient... STILL commands premium price. The USED ones even more so.
When people look at my newer 4runner and make comments about how expensive it is and how I must be doing really well for myself, I tell them...
"Are you kidding? I got a 4runner because I can't afford (can't afford to maintain and fix) anything else." š
