That thing is an amazing piece of engineering, and it's amazing that it beat the lap record! Buuut when do we stop calling a car "a production car"? A car with a F1 engine, with less than 300 being made, and only the hyper elite can afford it. Those things aren't exactly rolling off the assembly, headed to the local Mercedes dealership near you.

At least a 1000 hp car that can deliver the power to a good laptime. Koenigsegg for example are awful at cornering though some are way faster accelerating and way lighter.
There are some others that seem to be faster than amg one, but they simply don't perform well in corners on the bumpy nordschleife. The amg is a masterpiece.......
