Level designer definitely forgot. They forgot in another instance too. The farm in the bottom right of the map has a family where the dad suddenly changed personalities, the farmhand thinks he's a synth and there's a standoff because of it. If you kill the dad, there is no synth component. But if you do the institute quests, you get sent to that farmer and he reveals that he is indeed a synth from the institute

Probably just an oversight, for some reason Glory is just... weird in general when it comes to attention to detail. This example, being a synth with no synth component, but also, if she ends up living through the Minuteman ending by just, deciding not to destroy the Railroad, there isn't really coding for that scenario. Desdemona and the SS still refer to as dead despite her being RIGHT behind them, and she goes into a silent state indefinitely. Desdemona also does this for whatever reason after you finish her L&L Gang side-quests. I wouldve just chalked it up to something like a glitch but I figured out that it was literally what NPCs do in an unintended scenario after I teleported Gage to my player in a modded save BEFORE entering Nuka World, no dialouge and interaction outside of combat, not even able to give him commands. They somehow glossed over the fact that Glory could still live through one ending.
