You have to realize Jagex and runescape isnt like any other game/gaming company. They single handedly killed their own player base with rs3. With the success of old school runescape bringing those players back they are SCARED SHITLESS of making a mistake and losing everyone again. I believe that's why they're so community focused.

I know polls can be a little much sometimes but we all play and love this game because it’s the exact version of the game we want to play and jagex has a history of doing things to the game that we fucking hate ( removing the wilderness evolution of combat ect) so I think polls are vital for the longevity of this game to stay what we all know and love while adding to it to keep us all interested
