Over the past few years I've been making small but meaningful changes to go lower waste, and I have loved almost every single change! I'm a cloth napkin household now, and use microfiber cloths for cleaning (but still keep a roll of paper towels for cleaning the toilet, cause that's my preference). I use deodorant in a compostable cardboard container, use my own produce and shopping bags at the store, and recycle whatever I can. I also take the bus to work 95% of the time.
There is always room for improving (I've yet to find a green/plastic free detergent that works for me), but I've absolutely enjoyed this journey!

And if full zero waste isn't possible right this second for you, you can STILL make innovations and changes in your life to lower your waste impact AND save you money!
I'm far from zero waste, but I still manage to incorporate many strategies into my life, like mending, reusing, using public transport and buying second hand that lower my burden on the planet ❤

"Doing something is better than doing nothing at all." I find these the most powerfull and inspirieren word to introduce people to zero waste.
As someone who aspires and works towards a zero waste life style, I sometimes overwhelm myself and overthink over every single aspect of my life. But then I remind myself about the several changes I have implemented and take my time.
