There is no morality, it's all a facade within society. Morality, as we understand it and the way it operates within societies, is simply play System of manipulation and control, as well as a self-soothing mechanism for those who are victims of the manipulation and control. While modern societies, particularly Western societies, will claim that they are moral and empathetic, we just have to look below the surface and we see an entire hierarchy in which some people are extended decency and fairness and others are not, and there is an entire system of evaluating who can break the moral code and who cannot and against whom. Just ask the poor children of Gaza about the world and its morality.

There are benifites. Humans are social animals. Having a stable society is benifite.
Also evolution isnt a perfect machine. You keep going if you are good enough. Same like feet. Hoves would be better but food was good enough to keep going.
