The odds are printed on the ticket and anyone with half a brain would know that those odds are astronomical. For instance, the Powerball odds are around one in 320 million. That's around the same odds of picking one person out of the entire United States population to win.

I’d still play if I was taught probability statistics, because I understand that the probability of winning is exreeeemly small, yet I’d still play. The problem is, I live in Vegas where we don’t have the lottery. That said, I’ve lived in Vegas for almost 18 years and I’ve only gambled $1 since moving here.

i might play once or twice a year, when its a ridiculously high, even more improbable win. otherwise i dont play any lotto.

I went to public school in CA from 2001-2013. I learned about basic probability in 5th grade lol this law only applies to the Las Vegas state lottery. They have a bunch of dumb state lottery laws, which is why most Nevada residents drive down to Primm to buy CA lottery tickets instead 😂
