FYI, nyc people do use trash bins whenever they get rid of the trash in their home. They typically leave it inside their yard until its trash day, so they take it out and put it to the curb. You never want to just leave your trash bin out in front cause someone will steal it😂. Thats why you always see it chained up inside the yard

I was watching the news not long ago. Which yes, they're full of it. But they said that a lot of parts of New York wasn't allowed to have trash cans on the streets. I would like to know if that's true.
