What's the difference between prone and lateral positioning

I am the most comfortable in semi-fowlers WITH trendelenburg. This is what real world people refer to as βantigravityβ if Iβm not mistaken π€. I donβt want to make things harder in the nursing world, but there should be a name for this position. I was in the hospital for months (MRSA infected anterior cervical hardware β> massive epidural abscess β> osteomyelitis C4-C6 β> sepsis β> tetraplegia) and spent 95% of my time in this position and it was only ever charted as one or the other, but never both

I always remember Prone and Supine, because if you are Prone, you are prone to be defenseless if attacked. Idk I learned that in Medical Terminology and just ran with it π
