"God created man in His own image." is not be taken literally. It is understood simply that human kind is God's finest and best creation. God has bestowed on mankind all sorts of spiritual attributes that He preferred for Himself, but in a subtler way. Thus man is a creator, designer, destroyer, compassionate, merciful, wrathful, loving, hearing, seeing etc. In Abrahamic religions, from where this statement comes, God is precisely knowable and relatable because of these attributes.
Even though every other living and non-living thing is also God's creation and borrows from His attributes in some sense but in a much limited form as compared to humans.

For many years I have thought out of the box and have often wondered why someone (and it probably was a person from some church or other) because of control of the church ?
Why would we be told this ?
I personally don't believe in any one God as over millennium I have heard of many thousands of not only God names but many thousands of Goddess names also.
For sure I believe in a supreme energy that rules from the centre of all creation and that we are given free choices to act or resist, if we choose to accept and listen to our guides from the spirit world then our growth can become something so much more, then we can step forward in faith and help others who may be stumbling around in the dark.
You Sir have helped me to do this and a main message i believe is that we have to find a way to convince people that one of the most important lessons to learn is to educate people about having less children because unless this happens and soon then NATURE will act for us and some of the things that will happen will be terrible.
Everyday I observe both adults and children discard their rubbish without any thoughts for our beautiful planet Earth and what they are going to go through because of their own ignorance and we will all suffer and no-one will safe unless we all find the will to act now and ongoing.

God is not separate existence like us. God is in the form of universe and all living, nonliving things.

there have been instances where spiritual leaders or gurus have misused their power and manipulated their disciples or followers. Such instances are a cause for concern and cannot be condoned.
That being said, it is important to remember that not all gurus or Sadgurus are manipulative or unethical. Many spiritual leaders have helped people find meaning and purpose in their lives and have positively influenced their disciples.
Ultimately, it comes down to personal discernment and the ability to question and critically evaluate the teachings and actions of spiritual leaders. As individuals, we must be discerning and seek guidance from authentic sources before following any particular teacher or guru.
