Second harvest fits this so nicely both synergistically and flavor wise. Hopefully they give us the squirrel art reprint in the deck

There's also the fact that Hazel's ability targets. Populating allows you to choose which creature token you copy upon resolution of the ability. If someone kills the token you want to copy with Hazel, the whole ability fizzles.

Camellia will honestly be the better commander. Hazel is better in the 99.
I already have a chatterfang deck and I can definitely see that easily as someone heavily invested in the tribe.

Seems like hazel would be good with the new offspring mechanic. Creating offspring then duplicating those to have tons of creatures with really neat abilities.

Make a non-legendary copy of chatterfang. Copy that, get 2 chatterfangs giving you 3. From there keep choosing a token chatterfang and it just...snowballs literally exponentially.

Worse convoke is still kinda decent on cards that aren’t supposed to have it I guess. That second ability is gonna be where the fun’s at.

And the best part is Chatterfang is in the 99 of the precon.
