The Teal Pumpkin Project was started to encourage providing options other than candy on Halloween for kids with allergies. 🎃

As a pediatric occupational therapist, I also know a lot of kids who physically are not able to eat candy or just won’t due to their own preferences.

It doesn’t mean you can’t also offer candy as well. But by offering allergen free treats, toys, and trinkets, you will make everyone happy! Trust me, the kids who eat candy but still get plenty 😆

This will be my 3rd year participating in the Teal Pumpkin Project and I’m starting to buy some new things this year so wanted to share so you can plan ahead too. Another bonus is that unlike candy, non-food goodies don’t go bad and you can use leftovers for next year!
