Here in Shreveport, in 1996, I played Deacon Smith in a David Morris production entitled PUSH (pray until Something Happens), in 1988 I joined E&G Productions and was featured in Multiple roles. I performed in One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest at the Shreveport Little Theater, Also performed in a play called The Wedding, featuring Margaret "Sug" Avery. Privileged to have roles as an extra in the lifetime movie, "Not Like Everyone Else", and "Welcome Home Roscoe Jenkins". The play "That's My Wife" is the first play I've written. While driving home from work In March of 2008, the inspiration to write this play was resounding and vividly clear. I began writing this play in mid March and the flow of words and clarity of scenarios and characters began to rush and flood my thoughts so overwhelmingly that I was taken aback for a moment and I stepped back from writing for a while. In April of that same year I felt and heard within me that same unction as before to finish the play. So again, once I arrived home I began typing and writing the the play until it was finished. I am certain that God was present and certainly motivating an inspiring me to write this play. It would appear that the timing and opportunity to perform this play is at hand.
