Co-occuring conditions often affect one another making your treatment and recovery difficult if it's only focused on one of the conditions. Co-occuring symptoms can make it difficult for you and your doctor to know which symptom belongs to which condition. When symptoms hide behind other symptoms it can be difficult to get relief.
