Dream Theater & Liquid Tension Instrumadness ( Instrumental Mix )

7 videos • 168 views • by Sealord Music Dear Subscribers and Dream Theater fans! These 7 videos have been created for all present and future Dream Theater fans to enjoy! We all know that DT instrumental music can stand on its own and most of us love hearing it also separately! That is the reason why these videos were created as they include most of the instrumental parts from the 14 DT albums and a selection of sections from the 2 Liquid Tension albums.Of course it is not all the instrumental music in their albums but it is a significant part! I had this project in mind for some years now,but the COVID 19 lock down gave me the time I needed to complete it,since it took hundreds of hours of listening, selecting, editing, choosing pictures and creating some “art” which I believe was necessary in order for the result to be as I had it in my mind. I decided to use photos of the musicians separately, pictures of the group, magazine covers and posters in order to emphasize the music playing.I believe it made the videos more relevant to the group and gave them “life”. We all know that this amazingly talented group of musicians has composed and performed some of the greatest modern music, complicated and technical, but at the same time melodic and sentimental. With the exception of Classical music and some of the orchestral music composed for cinema,I believe that Dream Theater have created the most elite music in recent times (not for all listeners of course ). It is music for musicians and experts,it cannot be appreciated by the wider audience unfortunately! “Too many notes”......as the emperor said in “Amadeus”.😊 On all levels.....composition,instrumentation,melodies,technique,lyrics ( not included in these videos ),production and sound, I don’t know of anything that can be compared to their music in the modern era! We are the relatively few who know this to be the truth,we are the listeners who really understand and love these complex and beautiful compositions! I had the help of 2 people in creating these videos,a great video editor, and an amazing graphic designer who created many pictures and “posters” I wanted.Without these 2 people it just would not have been possible to complete the project, and I want to thank them for their patience! Maybe the group will also see / hear some of the videos,I believe even they do not remember some parts of the instrumental music they have composed all these years! It is really amazing how many and of what quality and depth their instrumental parts are! I really hope you all enjoy the videos! I will happily answer any questions or share any of the “art” / “posters” we created if anyone wants them. Thank you Dream Theater for your amazing music! P.S.
