The Frankfurt based producer is high in demand, and has been making waves ever since appearing on the scene 6 years ago. The initial third of the EP is a solo production from Surreal, linking up with Motiv for the remaining two tracks. The pair have linked up on multiple occasions - and it’s clear to see why! The title track ‘Now’ boldly sets the tone of what’s in store with this EP. Echoing synths build over the backdrop of intertwined basslines and vocal chops. With a sprinkling of glitchy jungle breaks, this one is a party starter! ‘Deleted’ introduces the Manchester based Motiv - a highly accomplished producer in his own right, recently marking his Innerground debut with ‘Industrial Funk EP’. Dreamlike pads sway beneath otherworldly voicemail messages, crescendoing to a warping bassline. Jingling synths pop and rattle among high speed drum rolls. Incredible energy! ‘Fading’ concludes the EP. Reverberating synths build to rapid breaks, with that characteristic sound the two producers have become synonymous with when joining forces.
