With its galloping hypnotic house beat, pulsating synths and lonesome guitar twangs, it was always a clear favourite but even as clubs around the world are still echoing to frenzied chants of "there's a horse in this house", Eskimo Recordings have introduced some competition with 3 new remixes courtesy of Fabrizio Mammarella, Hammer and Captain E.Leading the chasing pack is Italian DJ, producer and label boss Fabrizio Mammarella. With over two decades of releases under his belt on labels such as DFA, Permanent Vacation and his own Slow Motion Records, Fabrizio has solid form and saddles up to take us on the last horse to Trancentral, delivering a stunning remix that sees the track's vocal refrain canter over killer club beats and a mesmerising synth riff.This is certainly no one horse rave though and coming up close on the inside is Belfast producer Hammer whose sabre sharp remix thunders along with a looping acid bass line and echoing percussion before it all dissolves into a blissful wash of warm pads evoking the wide open starry skies of Texas (or perhaps County Down) before the beat comes crashing back in to carry us over the line.Finally bringing up the rear but with the bit between his teeth is Eskimo Recordings' own Captain E whose remix cracks the whip, upping the tempo and pairing its warehouse ready beats with rave stabs, a frisky bass line and just the occasional horse snort for good measure.
