This release follows the success of his ‘All The Smoke For One Life EP’, which garnered attention in the summer of 2023. Chad's musical roots run deep, beginning as a keyboardist for the indie band Porcelain, where he developed a fascination with synthesizers, samplers, drum machines and the enchanting rhythms of house music. This passion led him to explore solo production, carving out his unique artistic voice. It's great to see him back with another stellar release. ‘Nothing As Good’ opens the release and grooves with a bouncy, infectious bassline, crisp hi-hats, and sharp claps that punctuate the punchy kicks. Modulated chord stabs add dynamic texture, while soaring hi strings and striking melodic arps create a lush, atmospheric contrast. Cool spoken vocals weave effortlessly through the mix, adding a laid-back charisma as the interplay of rhythm and melody keeps the energy hypnotic and the vibe dancefloor-ready. ‘Bitmap’ rounds out the release, delivering an energetic punch with thick, resonant kicks that ground the rhythm, while bright hi-hats and shimmering percussions inject a vibrant, kinetic energy.
