Bill and Ben: Series 3 (Scripts that never made it to TV)
26 videos • 266 views • by Oscar Barnett From the 23rd February to the 13th July 2020, I wrote a brand new third 26-episode series of the CBeebies classic 'Bill and Ben' because it was an idea I had as 'Bill and Ben' is number 3 in my top 10 childhood TV shows. So I wrote those 26 episodes (which were fun to write) and sent the scripts to the BBC afterwards who liked my writing but decided not to commission the series. I was slightly disappointed that Series 3 wasn't going to come to life, but I was (and always will be) very proud of work. This year sees the 5th anniversary of those rejected scripts and this was the easiest way for you to hear those stories, so for the first time since December 2002, you'll be getting brand new Bill and Ben stories! Sit back, relax and enjoy these new adventures of mischievous but loveable flowerpot men. Hopefully somebody in TV show and commissioning business will notice this homemade series and want to make the third series of 'Bill and Ben' a reality.
