Beaverdam Valley Bears

303 videos • 274,938 views • by Patrick Conley A collection of short videos of the bear family that started visiting my place in Asheville, North Carolina, starting in late summer of 2017. They come by about once a week while foraging for acorns, berries, &c. They are not aggressive but I remain cautious. I don't chase them away because this is their habitat and most of the time they just walk through. I don't feed them. Never have, never will. They do, however, regularly check to see if the bird feeder is still hanging on the porch. Sometimes they get lucky. I finally got around to giving them names. The mother is Maïté, her hefty son Maurice and daughters Solange and Simone, the shy one.
