It was published by Koei Tecmo in Japan and Sony Interactive Entertainment worldwide on March 13, 2020. It is both a prequel and sequel to Nioh (2017). Versions for PlayStation 5 and Windows titled Nioh 2: Complete Edition featuring all the previous downloadable content were released on February 5, 2021, by Koei Tecmo. The game received mostly positive reviews and sold 2.5 million units by February 2022. I will be just playing through the game just for fun trying to achieve platinum on PS5. Expected to die a lot!!!
