I am thrilled to finally share this with all of you who have been listening to me for what feels like an eternity. This album is a collection of remixes I worked on over the last few months and in one case, was sitting nearly finished for 3 years. Haha. There are some really special tracks here. Michael Jackson – Black Or White is amped up with unused guitar takes from the original recording session. This puts the song in a whole light. Britney Spears – Do You Wanna Come Over? is gritty and weird. Ariana Grande – Into You has me clashing with some serious 80s vibes. Janet Jackson – All For You is simple and breezy like Janet’s vocals. Justin Timberlake – Girlfriend. You read that right – Justin only! Gave this a fun urban beat you can groove to in the car. Zedd & Alessia Cara – Stay has been reworked to sound like a late 90s Swedish pop jam. Katy Perry – This Is How We Do (was sitting around for 3 years) and slinks along with a heavy beat and funky bass line. Jimmy Eat World – The Middle is a 180º turn from the original with a simple beat and some brassy synths. Ed Sheeran – Castle On The Hill has been the hit of this summer and this new ballad version will give you a new perspective. Gwen Stefani – Cool is the perfect closer and her vocals are always great. Can’t beat a good acoustic rendition! And a special thanks to the guys of Ladies Night for playing guitar and helping out with drum programming. Enjoy the Summer!
