21 videos • 1,480 views • by David Fitzgerald I first met Barry & Batya in Jerusalem, where I was playing with Adrian Snell for a major event called 'Jerusalem 3000 Years Celebration' (which highlighted the figure of King David, who proclaimed Jerusalem the capital of ancient Israel 3000 years ago). I was invited to record for their new project 'Sh'ma Yisrael', which was produced in the UK by Martin Smith and featured some wonderful musicians/friends. I have recorded a number of subsequent albums with Barry & Batya and joined them for numerous events over the years. It has been a long and wonderful friendship & association.
