It was distributed in North America by Aspyr Inc. one year later. It was later released in the UK by Focus Multimedia Ltd. as a Gold Edition bundled with the first game. In comparison to the first game, this version does not featured any content (apart from localized text, audio and images) that was omitted from the common release. The game features 7 missions with larger maps and includes new visual effects and an updated model of Sermon Strogov. This version features a Russian voice-over that can be optionally enabled.
