It was fueled by hard hitting drummers, and a wall of speakers creating a sound that swept over it's (often acid dosed) audience. Musicians; not dancers, playing for the love and craft of their trade. Hopefully young people listen to this playlist, pick up a guitar and go to their neighbors house to jam all night long. No kid should ever live their life without experiencing parents screaming into the basement to, 'TURN IT DOWN!' Listen to the interaction between string players, the heart of any jam band. This is what makes jam music so remarkable; to be able to orchestrate a moment in time based on the interaction between members complete new.
