It is an interactive platform to promote communication and exchange of ideas between people from diverse professional background. Mukalma (dialogue), is both an instrument and on going process of integrated education and development of individuals and society. Stoppage of dialogue halts the learning process and makes society stagnant and intolerant. No need to emphasize further that an open, inter-perceptive dialogue is at the heart of our quest for knowledge of self and society. However, genuine dialogue can't take place until we follow some norms like: 1- Purpose of dialogue is to enhance understanding instead of sheer point-scoring or winning a debate. 2- Every perceptive shall be listened with respect provided it is reasoned. 3- To encourage participation, an interactive, informal, and relaxed atmosphere will be maintained both in sitting arrangement and proceedings. 4- We also do believe that a lively, open and reasoned debate can be undertaken in an academic environment. 5- So, the conventional protocols, shallow formalities, monologue are antithetical to the spirit of open dialogue. 6- The moderator will ensure that these norms of behavior are observed so that we can enjoy sharing our views and ideas.
