BEST GRASS FOR GOATS | DAMO PARA SA KAMBING

61 videos • 2,767 views • by Agri-Ventures TV This playlist features all grasses that we have tried and tested on our farm. So far, we have planted more than 10 types of grass, but only a few have passed or surpassed our expectations. It is important to note that not all grass can be planted with exact result from other farms due to several reasons such as elevation, slope, local climatic conditions, local flora and fauna, soil fertility and acidity, etc. Grasses that we planted but with poor results: 1. Pakchong Napier / Super Napier 2. Maramais 3. Alfalfa 4. Centrosema Cover Crop 5. Pueraria Cover Crop 6. Elephant Grass 7. Signal Grass Most of the above grasses require fertile soil, good land preparation (need mag-araro), irrigation, inorganic fertilizer and pesticides, which is not sustainable. Below are the grasses which have good results and exceeded our expectations. 1. Mombasa Grass 2. Mulato II Grass 3. Native Napier On-going experiment on other grasses: 1. Desmanthus 2. Tagasaste 3. Brachiaria Grass (hybrids) NOTE: It is important to limit grass to only 50 -80% (hard cap) of total food intake to maintain good body condition. A good indication of healthy and happy goats are shiny eyes and coat, and a round, muscular body. ================================ PAGKAIN NG KAMBING | FORAGE FOR GOATS | KUMPAY EPISODES | AGRI-VENTURES TV ================================ Choose Quality.
