Cranberry Sauce: An Examination of The Paul Is Dead Hoax

13 videos • 74 views • by TheHappyShow Ten years ago (from the year of this upload) I put together this documentary and examination of the strangest piece of Beatles lore. I became a fan of the Beatles music because of my fascination with this story when I was a youth, and back in 2003 I featured the mystery on a Halloween episode of my public access television program, "The Happy Show!" In 2010, I decided I would make a well-researched full-length documentary based on as much official information as I could uncover about the origins of the myth surrounding the reported early demise of Paul McCartney in 1966. I uploaded the finished original version to my other YouTube channel ( https://www.youtube.com/user/MattHawes ) back in 2010, where it eventually garnered over 10,000 views before being taken down due to rights issues. I maintain the usage of materials other than that I personally created or produced, or that was in the public domain, fell under fair usage for express purposes of review and education. But, I could not get my original version reinstated. However, over the last decade, a few other YouTubers (and people on other video sites) took my video and split it into two parts. Oddly, my credits in the beginning were altered, editing out my name, yet the final credits were left intact on the most common version these other people passed around and uploaded. After all these years, I decided to go ahead and remaster my documentary footage, to try and hopefully remove any infringing material that may cause my video to be removed for rights issues. If I did a good enough job, you will be reading this. In the video, I leave the conclusion up to you, the viewer, as to what the whole thing with the Beatles and Paul was all about. Feel free to share the video, but if you download it and upload it somewhere else, please leave my video unedited and credits intact. This is NOT a commercial endeavor, but I did a lot of work on it, and the least I ask is that I get my credit for that work. Thanks!
