9 videos • 276 views • by Southern Miss School of Music A pandemic project of the Southern Opera and Musical Theatre Company, the Viral Video Project was born as all performing opportunities shut down. When they began to return in highly modified forms with stringent restrictions, the group rehearsed music they selected, masked, distanced, and for severely limited time slots. Then, they recorded each selection, again, masked and distanced. As restrictions eased somewhat, more masked and distanced choreography led to mainly outside lip synched filmed segments that were edited together to produce this passion project.
