Feature-Length Video Essays: The Good Ones
1442 videos • 2,487 views • by theenglishman Separating wheat from chaff, this is a list of video essays and other documentary-style YouTube videos that are AT LEAST 90 minutes long, or otherwise have multiple parts totaling to over 90 minutes. Don’t be mad if you don’t see your favourites here, this is a constant work in progress and, more importantly, just my opinion. Playlist has been sorted in chronological order (by original upload date; e.g. the GameTrailers retrospective were produced in 2006-07, then reuploaded, so they are placed first). Supercuts of previously multipart videos are allowed, as long as they are part of a miniseries. Multipart videos that add up to a running time of over 90 minutes are allowed. These multipart videos are grouped together for your convenience. You might see some out-of-order videos at the bottom of the playlist. Don't panic! I do clean up this list every so often. NOTE: The following mini-series are incomplete and/or waiting future parts that are not yet uploaded: - a completely necessary deep dive into SCANDAL (biz barclay) - Appropriately Unhinged Recap of LOST (Mike's Mic) - At the Mountains of Kong (histocrat) - Does VeggieTales Hold Up (Aaron Lockman) - Disney's Virtual Worlds (Li Speaks) - The History of NCAA Conferences (dalukes) - Rise of Windows (Another Boring Topic) - The Witcher (Joseph Anderson)
