On September 2017, Desigual revealed its Spring/Summer 2018 collection on the runway for NYFW. The catwalk marked Jean-Paul Goude’s first step as Artistic Advisor of the brand. For this catwalk, he created an immersive experience to celebrate diversity and originality, values that he said defined him and the brand at the same time. The choreography was overseen by Ryan Heffington, and the music was created by Sam Spiegel to give this runway the “Unexpected”touch, essential to Desigual, pushing further the boundaries of imagination and changing the rules of how a runway is supposed to go.
