Dallas Willard and John Ortberg took turns teaching, and at the end of each session John moderated a wonderful dialogue with Dallas, teasing out further insight and clarity about the topics at hand. The plan for the gathering was to assist pastors (spokespeople for Christ) in fully entering into the joy, power, and dignity of the role assigned to them by Christ, to be the teachers of the nations. The conference focused on knowledge for living and the disastrous effects of divorcing the teachings of Jesus Christ and his people from the domain of human knowledge. It was designed to help pastors and other Christian leaders present a clearer picture of how to live well and how to "do" church. These session recordings were released in DVD and audio, and transcribed in book form under the title "Living in Christ's Presence."
