28 videos • 1,425 views • by Dream of the 90s Acetone formed in Los Angeles in 1992 with singer and bassist Richie Lee, guitarist Mark Lightcap, and drummer Steve Hadley. They recorded four LPs and several EPs and singles from then until 2000. In July 2001, Richie Lee took his life at the age of 34. Part of the inspiration for developing this channel as much as I have is that this favorite band of mine was only partially represented on YouTube, and nowhere else to be found streaming. Since then, Light in the Attic in 2017 released the collection "1992-2001," which features remastered versions of many songs, as well as many previously unreleased. Other than these exclusives, all of Acetone's originally released material (that I am aware of) can be found on this channel.
