3 videos • 9 views • by Talgro TV Rao is considered the foremost HR leader in India and among the pioneers in the global HR community. Between 1983 and 1985, T.V. Rao moved to XLRI as L&T Professor to set up the Centre for HRD. He was Professor at IIM - Ahmedabad for over 20 years beginning 1973. While at IIMA he was Chairman of the Post Graduate Program, Fellow Program, Public Systems Group, Ravi Matthai Center and also coordinated the PGP review. He left in 1994 to serve as Honorary Director of the Academy of Human Resources Development. Rao founded National HRD network and served as President of the Indian Society for Applied Behavioural Sciences (ISABS) from 1986-89. Jagmohan Bhanver is a Master Coach and CEO of The Next Milestone Technologies. He was formerly Dean at IIFM and has held leadership roles across three Banks. He is a coach to Board members, CEOs and CXOs across three continents. In this video, Bhanver converses with TV Rao on topics ranging from Rao’s early experiences at IIM-A and XLRI and how some of those experiences were instrumental in defining HR as we know it today.
