Every two years two teams of celebrities and football legends from England and the Rest of the World play a match to raise funds for Unicef and change the lives of children around the world. Since it first began Soccer Aid has raised over millions for Unicef's work with children and has involved legendary players like Diego Maradona, Zinedine Zidane, Alan Shearer and Teddy Sheringham as well as music, film and TV stars from around the globe. Funds raised through Soccer Aid have helped children around the world though Unicef's work on health, education, nutrition, water, HIV and AIDS and protection for vulnerable children.
