Members come from other bands throughout the area but mostly from the St. Petersburg Community Band, the Dunedin Concert Band, and the Second Time Arounders Marching Band. Under the direction of Second Time Arounders Marching Band director Bill Findeison, the Second Winds rehearse for the annual "Holiday Spectacular" each December in St. Petersburg, FL.
