The Forum on China-Africa Cooperation (FOCAC) will be held in Johannesburg, and will be chaired by Chinese President Xi Jinping. The theme is 'Africa-China Progressing Together: Win-Win Cooperation for Common Development'. The summit is expected to draw up a Declaration and Plan of Action (2016-2018). Senior officials are to meet ahead of the summit, on 2 December, and on 3 December there’ll be a FOCAC ministerial meeting.
