We measured the water in this well using a string and calculated the volume of water using a simple mathematical equation. It ran dry. We cleaned our small well to try and save our young fruit orchard. It worked. Winter came and with it the rains. We captured water from the neighbour's roof which meant we had so much water we had to find ways to move it around the farm and save as much as we could.
