The syngonium family was the first family that I noticed thrived in passive hydro. They are such fast growers in soil but definitely faster in LECA + passive hydroponics. The begonia family was definitely one that I struggled with in soil. I think because they need to be kept moist at all times, they adapted so well to passive hydroponics. I expected the monstera and philodendron families to thrive in passive hydro just based on what I've seen from other plant youtubers but also because they have robust root systems.
