Called In Sic
31 videos • 356 views • by ButtocksProductions Seattle band Called In Sic was founded by Bam Bam cofounder-bassist Scotty 'Buttocks' Ledgerwood & son Ryan Ledgerwood in 2002. Bam Bam's 2nd drummer Tom Hendrickson joined in 2003, followed by Bam Bam founder-guitarist Tommy Martin in 2010. This was the band Tina Bell was preparing to join for a Bam Bam 'reunion' at the time of her death. Tina and Scotty were making headway on a couple tracks together, but aside from a little assistance from her on Called In Sic's "Non Existent Girlfriend" and "Not All I've Learned Was Necessary", we never got a chance to finish or record anything with her. Called In Sic bashed it out for 7 years as a 3 piece punk band, doing shitloads of shows & had several releases including the "Images.." album, the "Called In Sick" EP, the singles "Gosh I'm Sorry", "I Consume", "Factory", "I Am An American", & "Little Red Book" (on Orange Puss Records, Buttocks Productions, Susan Silver's Sliver Records), and a 2 year sync deal with Warner Brothers for the song "No Lyrics". With the addition of Tommy Martin, the band moved to a heavier grunge-metal-punk hybrid. During the "New Truth" sessions, former Prince keyboardist Mark Cardenas sat in on several tracks. Called In Sic released several more tracks as a four piece; "Non Existent Girlfriend", "Broken Ball", "New Truth", "The Color Is Damp" & "Touristst Traps", before losing Tommy Martin in 2019 (RIP).
