The prestigious tournament will be held from January 13 to 29 in two venues in Odisha, notably in Bhubaneswar & Rourkela. On 27th Nov, 2019, Hon'ble CM Shri Naveen Patnaik announced this infront of a 15000 crowd. "We hosted the 2018 World Cup and I would like to announce that the 2023 Hockey World Cup will again be held in Bhubaneswar and Rourkela. Are you happy. I am happy," the Hon'ble CM said while addressing the crowd.
