In 1997, the brand’s first menswear show was presented in Milan. In the 90s, Prada quickly became one of the most influential fashion houses, transformed from a luxury baggage store to a global presence. As of today, it presents at least four runway shows per year: Spring/Summer Menswear, Spring/Summer Womenswear, Fall/Winter Menswear, and Fall/Winter Womenswear. Most show spaces are designed with Rem Koolhaas’s OMA studio, a longtime collaborator of Prada. In February of 2020, Raf Simons was named co-creative director of the brand together with Miuccia Prada. Each season, a series of videos show the experience of seeing a Prada collection fashion show, from the journey to the space through the eyes of a featured model, to the coveted front row perspective.
