After studying jazz at the University of Michigan, Hannah has embarked on a quest to find her sound and partner with a variety of collaborators. She loves the richness of jazz harmony and the throwback disco and quiet storm sounds of the ‘70s and ‘80s, seeking inspiration from artists like Sade, Teena Marie and George Michael. Hannah strongly believes in the intersection of music with sound-healing and spiritual practices. Her inspirational music is listenable and relatable while her insightful lyrics radiate empowering messages of hope and growth. In 2018, Hannah released her piano-driven debut EP, The Quietest Place, and expanded her catalog with three subsequent singles, “Who Can Relate, “Distant Land” and “What Will our Children Say.”
